No Signal? No Problem.
Reliable connectivity can make or break a live production, which is why resilient streaming has been front and centre for us this July. We have integrated Starlink to strengthen coverage in remote locations and provide reliable internet where traditional networks fall short. At the same time, we supported complex shoots across varied terrain, including the recent Troféu Joaquim Agostinho cycling event.
In this newsletter, we also revisit our recent Sony BURANO hands-on event, where attendees explored the camera’s capabilities in real-world workflows. Plus, we share standout audio projects from Digital Azul Sound and introduce new rental additions built to support fast-paced productions.

Building Resilient Streaming Connections for Live Events
In live production, connectivity is everything. Whether it’s a major event unfolding across multiple urban stages or a remote shoot miles from the nearest mobile tower, the pressure is on to deliver high-quality, uninterrupted broadcast feeds in real time.
When cell coverage is patchy or public networks are under strain, resilient streaming infrastructure becomes critical. That’s where intelligent, hybrid connectivity workflows come into play. Rather than relying on a single point of connection, production teams are layering technologies such as bonded cellular, satellite internet and smart routing tools to ensure broadcast continuity in even the most challenging environments.

Sony BURANO x Digital Azul Interactive Workshop
This July, we partnered with Sony to host a hands-on BURANO event at our Lisbon studios. The session welcomed DOPs, camera assistants, rental specialists and creatives to explore the Sony BURANO up close.
We were pleased to offer a collaborative space to test lenses, experiment with motion control setups and dive into colour grading workflows using BURANO footage. It was a great opportunity for attendees to see what this camera is capable of in real-world scenarios.
If you couldn’t make it but want to learn more about the BURANO, you can explore it further below.

Crafting Powerful Audio Stories
Our sound studios continue to support projects that combine technical precision with emotional impact.
We recently worked on ‘Stories About Stories’ by Robin Rice, a weekly memoir series that blended the structure of audiobook production with the rhythm of podcasting. Through careful planning, technical consistency and a collaborative approach, we helped keep the series polished and engaging for its listeners.

Another standout project was recording ‘Please Live’ by Lana Estemirova. This deeply personal audiobook brought powerful emotions into the booth, making it one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects we’ve worked on. Bringing Lana’s voice and story to life in such an intimate way was a privilege.
